Twenty years running PR for some of the biggest brands in the world, and this course still stopped me in my tracks. I moved to Denver, had a baby, and when I stepped back into the workforce, I realized how much had quietly shifted. The journalists I knew had scattered. The affiliate and performance side of PR had become its own language. And no amount of coffee catch-ups was going to close that gap. This course did. Completely. It changed how we think about strategy, what we bring to clients, and how we position ourselves in a media landscape that moves fast and rewards people who actually understand it from the inside out. The depth here is real. It's not surface-level advice dressed up in a slide deck. It's the kind of knowledge that takes years to accumulate and she hands it to you in a way that actually sticks. Whether you're a seasoned publicist who needs to come back sharper, or someone just coming up who wants the insider view without having to earn it the hard way over decades, this is the course. I walked away with a completely different framework for how we operate. If you're thinking about taking the course, just do it. Bonus, i was able to get my client to pay for it because they also saw it as a value add. 5 stars over and over again.

After completing Sarah Karger’s excellent “Introduction to Affiliate Marketing for Publicists” course, I was excited to dive deeper into affiliate PR with “Performance-Based PR and Affiliate Marketing for Publicists.” Sarah’s expertise, enthusiasm, and willingness to share practical tips are a game-changer. Following along as she navigates the affiliate dashboard helped clarify the process and connect the dots. She shares a wealth of information, served with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this masterclass to any PR pro looking to add affiliate services to their programs!

As a publicist, I know how important it is for brands to be on an affiliate platform in order to be considered for many media opportunities. But this course made it so clear that there is so much more to it than simply being “on” the platform. There is an entire backend strategy that many publicists and brands overlook. If we don’t understand how these platforms work, how to optimize them, and how to help them perform for the brand, we are missing a huge piece of the PR puzzle. This course does an incredible job of breaking down what needs to happen behind the scenes so the affiliate platform can actually do what it is supposed to do: support media coverage, strengthen brand visibility, and make the brand more appealing to editors. Publicists can’t just sit back, pitch brands, and hope the media picks them up. We need to understand what makes a brand media-ready from every angle, and affiliate strategy is now a major part of that. This course gives publicists the tools, knowledge, and confidence to better support their clients and stand out from others who are simply pitching and hoping for the best. It is a must for any publicist who wants to stay relevant, strategic, and ahead of the curve.
